In the aftermath of the fourth pedestrian death involving Brightline, officials are urging caution around rail crossings.

On Wednesday around 4:30 p.m., 51-year-old Jeffrey D. King was killed when pedaling around guard rails to beat the train across the tracks, according to Boynton Beach police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater.

His boss, Anthony Barber, the owner and general manager of Troy’s Barbecue in Boynton Beach, said King was heading home from work when the collision occurred.
